Follow my journey from Tokyo 2020 Olympics to Paris 2024, attempting to make Rio Olympics a quad tear put those plans on hold,Tokyo was a tough Olympics for me, but the knowledge there will help me make Paris an Olympics to remember. Enjoy the Journey
Start thinking bigger than just training more or harder.
Knowing when to push and when to manage your effort is important:
A little catch up, and plans for the next few weeks to Doha and Tokyo always in my mind
It’s not always easy in the final few days before a race, no matter how fit you’re
Hoping all goes well between now and the champs:
Excited to defend my 10k title
Settling in really well to training in London
Starting to build really good consistency
I believe when things aren’t going perfect, that often a little change can lead to big results
Hakuna matata... be grateful for what you have, not resentful for what you don’t have or crave
I don’t know the difference, is it really heroic to chase these big goals, or is it just stupid and lead to unhappiness in many different forms
Testing out the humidity in Lake Charles LA
I’m just cracking on right now, and making the changes needed to become an Olympian
Asking yourself the difficult questions, do I do everything I can to be better! Do I even want to be better or do I just want to be better, but I don’t want to do what it takes
Being the best version / runner you can be.
Again.. back to basics and bringing back what I lost
Not every session can be super fast, or pbs for tempos, but what are other things you can look for?
We all have a list of things “we know” we should be doing..
