Welcome to the Word Revealed at Kenwood, a podcast about the Bible, its history, its impact on generations, how to read it, and how it came to be. The hope is to put the Bible in context for the modern reader. We discuss the archaeology and characters and talk with guests about how the Bible is relevant in their lives and careers.
The Word Revealed at Kenwood is hosted by Dr. David Palmer and Scott Burns. David Palmer is the Senior Pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church in Cincinnati. He completed both a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. David received a Ph.D. from Hebrew Union College in Bible and History of Interpretation. He has been at Kenwood for over twenty years. He is also the co-author of the CASKET EMPTY project that helps people understand the big picture of the Bible with Jesus as the center.
Scott Burns is the Associate Pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church in Cincinnati. Scott received his Master of Divinity in pastoral ministry from Southern Baptist Seminary. He has served in a pastoral role for twenty years, nine years at Kenwood. He manages many ministries at Kenwood and once a month, blesses us with his preaching.
