Welcome to the (in)courage podcast! We are all different ages, in different life stages, and we come from different cultures and churches, but our common thread is the hope of Jesus. Each weekday we meet you right where you are as one of our writers shares what’s going on in her everyday life and how God’s right in the middle of it all. We bring our joys and struggles equally so that you can feel less alone, and be empowered by the hope Jesus gives. We hope you’ll bring us along with you on your morning walks, driving to the grocery store, waiting in the preschool pickup line, alone in your kitchen, or as you wind down for the evening. Wherever you join us, you’re welcome here, and we’re honored to be a part of your day.

Just because YOU could be better doesn’t mean you’re not good enough. This is what grace means: that we in all our mess and brokenness are still enough. It means Jesus went to the cross and rose from…
Thunder doesn’t rumble out of nowhere and storms move in over time. In Luke 6, Jesus says, “For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” And what He means is that when we say something unkind or …
We're all daughters of the same God, privileged to bear His image to a world who is watching. God used a complete stranger to challenge my perspective and to remind me that I never know who’s watchi…
Love suffers long. Living out our love for Jesus isn’t shiny or brag-worthy, it is ordinary and often wearisome, work. To care for people made in the image of God, Jesus’ beloved “sheep,” requires th…
Use this moment to reclaim your mind. Use this moment to reclaim your mind and decide: What does it practically look like to care for this temple that you’re living in every day? Keep this in your he…
We don't have to be afraid of struggle. God has auspiciously entwined struggle, reward, and fruit. They are inseparable. I have learned to express gratitude for each. In so many of life’s circumstanc…
The most important thing we can do when we feel like there’s nothing we can do is to pray. No matter how unprepared or ill-equipped we feel, no matter where we find ourselves — in the break room at w…
God offers a different kind of peace. Lasting. Unshakable. Perfect. When the whole world fractures or my own life shatters, the peace of Jesus is still available because the person of Jesus never cha…
