Reading from Matthew 1:1-3 and vs 18-23
God is faithful.
Proclaiming we will be redeemed, and that the Messiah will come from Bethlehem.
Our Hope is in Jesus. Back before Jesus came as a baby, the hope was that he would come. Today, our hope is in Jesus return. What are your thoughts on that?
We have a great hope... even in the darkest of times, we hope in Christ.
The prophets told their people to have hope, the Messiah is coming.
For those of us since the coming of the Messiah, we have the hope of His return.
I love this time of year, because of the Advent season. How about you/
Genesis 41 finishes up with Joseph going from having just spend years in prison, to the ultimate leader (second only to Pharaoh) of the greatest nation on the planet at the time.

Genesis 41 brings us to a dream that leads to Joseph becoming in charge of Egypt. What a promotion, from in the pit (prison) to top guy only under Pharaoh.
A cupbearer and a baker... both in prison, both having dreams, and both have Joseph tell them the meanings of their dreams. Good and bad.
