Steps to the spirit is about my search for, discovery of, and use of the Spirit to live my life according to the wishes and plans of God. I also call them gifts from God because I believe He has given us these tools to enable us to find a closer relationship with Him. I invite you to join me in this quest that is at times both difficult and extremely fulfilling. I will try to explain how and why it became necessary to surrender, thus enabling me to begin to live according to God's plan.I will post additional info on my blog: http://www.StepsToTheSpirit.com/blog To contact me, please use: [email protected]

We refer to it sometimes, as the “wreckage of the past”. At this point, I have decided to let God influence my decisions, taken inventory, and asked Him to remove those things that keep…
So, now at the 7th step, I am ready to lay it all on the line in a continued surrender to God’s will, not mine! I muster as much humility as I can, (not much at this stage of recovery),…
For a long while, when I was first involved with the steps, 6 & 7 never seemed tohave much importance. Folks always seemed to tout the big guys, like steps 3, 4,11 & 12.
I now realize 6 …
