Welcome to the Multiply Your Leadership weekly podcast series sponsored by the Central Pacific District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We seek to multiply Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, healthy strategic leaders.
The right kind of supervision can be invaluable in helping emerging leaders to improve.
As we mobilize and empower emerging leaders into new roles, they will need our on-going support.
Placing people into ministry roles is an important part of their growth and development.
We have the opportunity to equip people with the tools they need to be successful.
Jesus recruited his disciples. In the same way, we can invite people into new and exciting journeys.
Multiplying leaders starts with identifying a broad pool of candidates.
These simple processes can help you and others to start multiplying leaders.
In summary, we can take all lessons from these leaders and put it to use today.
Paul is our lead example of how to multiply leaders.
Following the example of Barnabas, Paul had a variety of people he invested in.
When you work with leaders, there will be conflict at times. Barnabas has some lessons to teach us on this very topic.
It can be awkward when we raise up leaders who are more talented than we are. Barnabas showed the way to do this well.
To multiply leaders, we will need to invest time in the process.
Barnabas was not passive. He actively went looking for Saul (Paul).
In Acts 11:24, we see that Barnabas was used to bring many to the Lord.
Barnabas was a model for us today as he led through fullness and faith.
As we all know from the news, we should not assume that all Christians have good character.
We need to celebrate with and exhort the emerging leaders around us.
God is at work around us. It is our job to see what God is doing and call it out in the lives of others.
Foundational for multiplying leaders is trust with emerging leaders and others on your team.
