Dr. Cooper has been an Adjunct Professor of History since 2015. He was nominated in 2019 and 2020 for the Instructional Excellence Award and holds some of the highest teacher ratings for two universities. Since 2009, and has also worked as a History, Psychology, and Government high school teacher. In addition, he has worked as a school leader as an Assistant Principal.
Before choosing an educational career, Dr. Cooper owned and operated a successful computer business for 10 years that received high ratings for sales and customer service. He was a corporate trainer and district manager for a Fortune 500 company in the Midwest.
Dr. Cooper's research interests include social media's history on society and technological history's impact. In addition, he writes extensively on U.S. History, focusing on the unusual and often mundane.
