Ever wonder how people homestead, grow animals, or even just live in the desert? How do you begin a homestead, what do you look for in livestock, feed, water storage, or equipment? How do you start the journey to producing your own food, look toward self reliance at least in some areas? That’s what this podcast is here to discuss! I grew up on a farm in the Midwest and now have hogs and chickens on a small homestead/farm/ranch (depending where you are from) in the high desert of southeastern Arizona.
