Brooklyn's Dad Talks About the Bible - Podcast

Brooklyn's Dad Talks About the Bible

A podcast centering on conversational Christian theology. Along the way, we may detour and visit myriad of topics from baseball to bass, pop culture to politics, movies to music, history to histrionics and just about everything in between from a conservative, yet somewhat unorthodox and dispensational Christian point of view. Your humble host is a former Religious Education teacher who chucked it all to become a lonely workman trying to rightly divide, compare things that differ, so as not to be ashamed. (2 Tim 2:15) There is only one theology that matters in the end, YOUR OWN.

Quick Commentary on the Politics of the Day

Fake outrage is the rule of the day in the political arena. Very few people have core principles. Many will sell their principles as long as their team wins. Underneath it all are hidden agendas. Peo…

The Treasure, The Pearl, and Stop With the Traditions of Men Already!

The Treasure, The Pearl, and Stop With the Traditions of Men Already!

Is Israel really Israel? Michael comes down hard on the side "maybe!" Well, I'm fairly comfortable saying that even if modern-day Israel is not a direct fulfillment of scripture, it's surely a precur…

The Key to the Parables, and the Bible, is Israel

The Key to the Parables, and the Bible, is Israel

We take another small detour in our look at the Kingdom parables. If we do not see Israel's calling, Israel's promises through Abraham and David, we will never rightly divide the parables of the King…

Noting the Judgments for Believers in the Parables and Elsewhere

Noting the Judgments for Believers in the Parables and Elsewhere

We note, again, how things like "weeping and gnashing of teeth" and other judgments found in the parables and the gospel accounts are for believers. We must recognize the different callings, differen…

Just as the Lord Preached the Kingdom to Israel, So Did Paul in the Acts

Just as the Lord Preached the Kingdom to Israel, So Did Paul in the Acts

We have to divide the hope of Israel's realization of the promises to Abraham and David and the hope of blessings in the far above the heavens. Paul was still preaching the earthly Kingdom and the ho…

The Big Picture (Because Michael is an Imbecile)

The Big Picture (Because Michael is an Imbecile)

The Bible from 30,000 feet. We pull the lens back on the entirety of scripture and universe in which it should be understood. The Bible is supernatural book. That doesn't only mean that is has miracl…
