Ben Young serves as the senior pastor of Second Baptist Church.
A prolific reader and writer, Ben is the author of several books, including Room for Doubt, The Ten Commandments of Dating, and Devotions for Dating Couples. In his latest book, Survive the Day, he draws from personal experiences to offer insights into not only surviving each dark day but also living every day in ways that make a person stronger, wiser, and more at peace.
Ben has served as chaplain for the Houston Astros and has hosted a nationally syndicated radio talk show. In his free time, he enjoys surfing and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Ben and his wife, Krissie, have six children and 2 grandchildren.
