The 100 Stories Project aims to help visually impaired high school students learn English.
During the Covid-19 lockdown in India, volunteers around the world banded together, via https://chat.whatsapp.com/IfQnjSMLx44HdcLs9w2jKQ . Across time-zones, from Australia to California, 11 year olds to senior citizens recorded stories for the 100 Stories Project, from their homes.
Volunteers loved it! So we ran 2 rounds in April and May 2020. Overall, 119 volunteers from 6 countries and 3 continents, recorded 225 stories over 4 weeks.
