According to the CDC and WHO, 1 in 3 American men will experience physical violence, sexual violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Globally, 1 in 3 women will experience physical or sexual violence—most often at the hands of an intimate partner.
But domestic abuse goes beyond physical and sexual violence. It also includes emotional abuse, psychological manipulation, financial control, and legal abuse—forms that are often hidden but equally harmful.
I’m Ingrid Dutton, and as a survivor of domestic violence, I use my voice to break the silence. Each week on this podcast, I share real stories that span the full spectrum of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence. I’ll be joined by fellow survivors, family members, and professionals in the field to explore the realities of abuse, recovery, and resilience.
My mission is to raise awareness, offer guidance, advocate for systemic change, and remind victims and survivors that they are seen, supported, and never alone.
Whether you're a victim, survivor, supporter, or advocate, this podcast is your space for honest conversations, empowering stories, and expert insights that inspire strength and change.
