Welcome to Easter's revenge 2!
Or more like 1.2 or "New Egginings"
Or something.
This film, besides being an excellent crime drama, turns out to be a great transition from Ireland to Easter.
Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren absolutely dominate in this tale of a London crime boss looking to expand into new territory, a new decade, a global economy but quickly finds he's not in as much control as he believed.
Could it be a allegory for late '70's England?
See for yourself. We consider The Long Good Friday a must-watch.
