Yowie Sighting at Korono Basin (Coffs Harbour), New South Wales 1980

While living with her mother on a banana plantation north of Coffs Harbour, Cherie was allowed to wander the property alone while her mother worked.

And according to Cherie, she made a friend who taught her a lot about the forest. How to dig for bugs, climb trees and have fun. She didn't see him as anyone different. He was just hairy, that's all. And his parents were never too far away, watching.
