We live in times that people are pre-occupied and even obsessed with getting. In a lifetime and even in a short time we get many things,… jobs, promotions, gifts, heart’s desires, and degrees. We get ideas and thoughts. But we also get rejected, get an illness, and get concerned. We get many things in life! But no matter what we get, how we get it, or when we get it,… no matter whether our getting is intentional or perhaps not what we hoped for, understanding is not optional. It is God’s command.
