Can You Say to Adversity, Thank You?

We have often heard "in everything give thanks." But Ephesians 5: 20 also says: "... Always [give] thanks to God the Father for everything." How do we see adversity? Never see adversity first. Always see Jesus first because He is before all things and in Him all things consist! But how can we do that? It takes time with God and maturity in that relationship to realize that every test, trial, and enemy is designed to work and build us up into His character and capacity.
