A New Attitude, Part II

The spirit of the mind is the very center and core of the human spirit that would rather glorify self over God. The Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit, the Spirit of God’s Word and principles for life. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be our Helper because there is no other way to be in Christ except through the Holy Spirit of Truth by Whom we learn how to live, make godly choices, and be a pleasure for God to work with. The Holy Spirit gives us new information, new language, a new Way to speak to ourselves, a higher wisdom that the old man cannot attain to or understand, nor can it continue. New and old have no communion. The new intentionally separates from the old and we then know we have been renewed in the spirit of our minds.
