Educational Equity: A Fight For Every Child's Future With Jennifer Roberts

Jennifer Roberts values the impact of a high-quality educational experience and has spent the last 20 years advocating and supporting children and families to it. She particularly desires to advocate for children of color to receive equitable education in her local community. This passion has led Jennifer to create The Sawubona School of Excellence, an alternative to the traditional educational system that prioritizes the needs of Black children and celebrates their heritage. Jennifer is grateful that her mother was an educator because it taught her about the positive impact of having a quality education that she could pass on to her children and families in her community. Jennifer’s passion and dedication will inspire families to fight for educational equity and reach out for support when feeling alone.
