An Unwavering Devotion to a Cult Explained

Cult leaders often use skillful manipulation, a presence of charisma and a gamut of psychological and emotional abusive tactics to influence their followers. And many humans are vulnerable to these psychological control strategies.

Is there a human need for emotional comfort that motivates people to seek out others to soothe their apprehensions and anxieties? Studies have suggested that those elements and others have drawn many people to commit to cults operating around the world.

My guests say that all people have a need to have some control over their life if they are going to get their needs met. If they are not being met reincarceration or they will join a cult or a gang, drugs, alcohol, suicide, get a gun and become a shooter, etc.
