2.4 Parents Are Human Too

Before we had superheroes to read and write about, we had our parents, whether it be our dad, our mom or our grandparents, who took care of us while we didn't know a single thing about the world. 

Since we placed them on a pedestal, we forget that they were once us at one point. We get angry or annoyed with things that they say or do and we may even feel guilty about it afterwards. It is the simple fact that we forget our parents are human too. Humans with emotions, trauma, their own internal battles that they were never able to work through themselves because they may have felt they weren't allowed to show weakness.
