In this week’s episode, having been inspired by Sarah Weinman’s book The Real Lolita: The Kidnapping of Sally Horner and the Novel That Scandalized the World, Madigan dives into the novel Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov, and discusses it’s cultural relevance, what it says about sex and assaults on minors, as well as the stories of the real “Lolita’s” of the world.
