With its NC-17 rating, gratuitous sex and nudity, Showgirls quickly became one of the most controversial movies of 1995. Despite all the hype surrounding it, the movie bombed at the box office and received extremely negative reviews. Ultimately, Showgirls found new life on home video and is now widely regarded as a cult classic; does this movie deserve to be "so bad, it's good", or is it just bad?
