Follow the adventures of Ess Fremont, who runs away from an oppressive boarding school when her grandparents go missing. Disguised, as a boy, she encounters Secret Service agents, Pinkertons, rebels, circus performers, and President Lincoln. She uses her wits and her grandparents' inventions while hunting for her missing brother, and hoping someday to find out the truth about her grandparents' fate.

Episode 6/Chapter 05: Ess and the staff prepare to protect her grandparents' home and foil the schemes of the Resurrectionists. Then Ess returns to the boarding school to witness the results of her hard work to sabotage the headmistress's schemes.
