Welcome to a new episode of Ye Olde Dragon's Library storytelling podcast!

Current story: Odessa Fremont, Prequel to the steampunk series, Guardians of the Time Stream.

Follow the adventures of Ess Fremont, who runs away from an oppressive boarding school when her grandparents go missing. Disguised, as a boy, she encounters Secret Service agents, Pinkertons, rebels, circus performers, and President Lincoln. She uses her wits and her grandparents' inventions while hunting for her missing brother, and hoping someday to find out the truth about her grandparents' fate.

Episode 5/Chapter 04:  The headmistress finally informs Ess her grandparents are missing, presumed dead. She pretends to have a breakdown and is allowed to hide in her room. She makes her escape that night, in disguise, and flees to her family home to warn the staff that the enemy intends to confiscate the estate, and use it to fund rebel activities.
