 Follow the adventures of Arden, a princess gifted with Plantwise magic at her christening, and her struggles to escape the schemes and manipulation of Prince Maddix, a pawn in the hands of Durmad, whose goal is to break free of the magical barriers created by Steward and enslave all the magic in the world.

 Episode 10/Chapter 7:   Arden encounters Maddix while she is busy attending to plantwise duties, not looking at all like a princess. He doesn't recognize her, but considers her an ignorant, filthy peasant. This allows her to overhear plans that horrify her -- to harm her father's kingdom.

 This is the first book in the new series, Steward's World.
