In this second episode, I’m diving deep into my journey with running — from hating every step of my first 5K in 2018 to crossing the finish line of my first marathon just days ago with a sub-4 hour time! I’ll walk you through some of my milestones, like how I randomly decided to tackle Michigan's Riverbank Run 10K with no training, started running regularly in Florida in 2022, and finally found my stride (literally and figuratively LOL).
I’ll share the highs and lows of learning to love running, how I stayed motivated when training got tough, and the moments that made me fall in love with the process. Plus, I'll answer some Q&A at the end to give you a glimpse into my marathon training tips, including fueling, recovery, how I incorporate lifting, and some shoutouts to the amazing run clubs and friends who keep me going.
