v Blessing # 2: I Connect: (v.41-46)
o   With God’s Promises (v41-42)
o   With God’s Redemptive Power! (v43-46, 2 Chron.7:14)
The Battle of Brokenness (19:1-5):
v Disillusionment: (v1-2)
o   God knows my pain (John 1:10-13)
o   The enemy isn’t going to “give up” easy (Eph.6:10-14)
o   I can’t take it personally (John 15:18-22)
v Fear: (v3a)
v Isolation: (v3b-5a)
o   Disconnecting (v3b-4a) “he left his servant…”
o   Dirty (4b) “came to a broom tree, sat under it”
o   Despair (v4c) “prayed that he might die”
o   Discrimination (v4d) “I have had enough Lord”
o   Disappointment (v4e) “I am no better than…”
