“Preparing the Soil for God’s Outpouring”
[1 Kings 18:16-21]
God is preparing me to prevail not to just look pretty (v.16, James 1:2-4, Ephesians 4:11-16):
God is working “in me” so that He can work “through me”: (Isaiah 40:29-30)
The enemy won’t go away on his own!
(v.16, Ephesians 6:10-18, Deut.2:1-3, 24-33)
God doesn’t have to make me stronger but surer in Him: (2 Corinthians 4:5-10)
God isn’t afraid to “Shake things Up!” (v.17-19):
I have to be a rebel to follow Jesus: (Matt.7:13-14)
Trouble reveals what is and is not of God: (v.18-19)
Love doesn’t, “Look the other way.” (Prov.27:5-6)
I cannot follow The Lord on accident: (v.20-21):
Silence is going to keep me in a cycle of death: (James 4:4-10, 2 Cor. 7:8-11)
Commit to a Way of Life: (v.21, Revelation 3:14-22)
