In this week’s episode I talk about my journey as a compulsive worrier and the random things that allowed me to step further away from worry and closer to faith.
Yep … I was an expert at it. Like I could win awards at how compulsive and destructive and complex my worrying was. In an effort to change this pattern, I started googling relentlessly “how to stop worrying”. No kidding. What followed was a series of random and unrelated snippets of truth that I will never forget.
I talk about:
- the ONE article that shifted my perspective on my particular type of worrying behaviour
- a favourite quote from the grandmother of a Canadian curler
- the link to the law of attraction that made the need for me to change become more visceral than ever
- the thing I learned from Elenor Roosevelt (through my friend Penny) that I always quote
- a book I ACTUALLY read that was on Oprah’s Book Club … that changed my life
- a random thing I read on line just THIS week that I love sharing with you
