Feng Shui isn't just what you see with your eyes and feel with your energy ... it's also about what you can SMELL.  Listen in on my thoughts on adding scent to your home to enhance your holidays PLUS ... I share my favourite simmer pot recipe.

BUUUUT since I drive while I listen to podcasts, I'm gonna assume it's possible you do too and therefore you can't take notes.  LOL.  Here's the recipe!

Christmas Simmer Pot Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange, sliced (symbolizes joy and abundance)
  • 1 apple, sliced (for warmth and nurturing energy)
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks (for cozy, festive vibes)
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves (adds spice and grounding energy)
  • 1 star anise (optional, for a beautiful aesthetic and licorice-like scent)
  • A handful of fresh cranberries (for a pop of color and festive cheer)
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh rosemary or pine (to evoke the freshness of a Christmas tree)
  • 4-5 cups of water (to simmer everything together)

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot or saucepan.
  2. Fill the pot with water, ensuring the ingredients are covered.
  3. Bring the pot to a gentle boil, then reduce to a low simmer.
  4. Allow it to simmer on low heat for as long as you like, adding water as needed to keep it from drying out.
