• Start by writing down Philippians 3:12-14 (0:11)
• We’re talking about a principle we all must know and apply - letting go of one thing and grabbing hold of another (1:31)
• Paul is saying that we have to forget the things of the past. One of the things he had to forget was the things he’d learned about God over the years (2:38)
• We try to manage our own lives and it is a form of control (10:13)
• Every time the thorn raises its head and you can’t manage it, be reminded that you need God. Let go of what you think and trust (14:05)
• God doesn’t seem to ever do anything the same. He’s keeping us on the edge of the mystery of who He is (23:37)
• This principle of letting go is all throughout the Bible. It’s a powerful principle (25:54)
