Unconditionally Chosen: My Adoption Story

In this episode Brook Mesenbrink joins the pod squad to share her amazing journey of being adopted and the love God has shown her through that experience. She vulnerably shares about the struggles and insecurities that God has carried her through- all issues that we can relate to as humans: to feel wanted, validated, and unconditionally chosen.

About the Speaker:

 Brook is a California girl who was adopted into a multiracial physical family as a young child. The feeling of abandonment and disconnectedness typically experienced by adopted children motivated her to search for God and become adopted into a spiritual family when she was twenty years old. In this podcast, Brook shares about her journey of how she healed her brokenness and is able to extend compassion to others through experiencing God's true love.

• We can be women of compassion and conviction when we live in the overwhelming love of God and imitate His son, Jesus. 

Psalm 145:13-19 

• God is trustworthy! He is faithful to us! He has compassion on us
• He disciplines our characters as His beloved children- and His discipline is perfect. Hebrews 12:5-11

Acts 17:26-28
