In this episode Angela Clouse joins the Woven In Truth Podcast to guide our thoughts on how to take your prayer life from a ritual to a relationship! Prayer is connection with the creator of the universe- He hears you, He cares, and He is working. Angela shares her about her personal prayer life and the amazing ways that prayer has powered her through the hardest of circumstances to help her tap into God's strength and peace- even in the most devastating of times.

Episode Notes:
God loves when we come to Him with our hearts and requests!

Romans 12:12 - Are you faithful in prayer?

What is prayer? Its connection to God! It's never been about us or our power- it's about interacting with God who actually does have the power!

How do you feel about communicating with God?

Psalm 42:1

Prayer is essential. The love for it doesn't happen over night but it can be cultivated into a lifeline.

Psalm 5:3- God hears you. We can lay our requests before Him and then we need to be patient and wait.

We are transformed through prayer. It's not just about asking for things.

Authentic peace and comfort only come through prayer.

Practicals:
1. Don't Give Up. Even when it feels like it's just a ritual or if you don't feel like it. Train yourself to keep praying.
2. Daily Surrender. Make an intentional decision to become a woman of prayer.
3. Daily Prayer. Make it your lifestyle. (Mark 1:35) Have a certain time and place that you spend time in prayer to God.
4. Go to the Throne before the Phone. Have you prayed about whatever you are stressed/worried/frustrated about before you get on your phone? God wants us to go to Him before anything or anyone else.

"To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing. Prayer is simply God's oxygen for the lungs of our faith." -Martin Luther
