It's been a heavy and overwhelming week in the world. Crises in Afghanistan, Haiti, and so many places as a result of the Earth's climate crisis and humanity's crises around politics and social justice have all hit at once. I've been doing my best to educate myself on how to help and also to understand what we've let happen to get us here. I know that worth is at the center of the way forward. It always is.

This worthfull affirmation is a tribute to the women in Afghanistan, and around the world, who have built the mountain taller for those who come after them, and the pain they are experiencing right now as it appears to be swept away.
