We all have qualities that we’ve learned are bad or wrong so we’ve rejected them in ourselves and others. When someone else sees our shadow selves, it is extremely uncomfortable to be faced with an aspect of ourselves we have judged harshly. This week, Lisa’s shadow came into the light. Lisa and Aimee talk about how to reclaim our murkier shades and integrate our experiences to step into a unified version of ourselves under the light of self-acceptance.

Few people have had as much influence on modern psychology as Carl Jung; we have Jung to thank for concepts like extroversion and introversion, archetypes, modern dream analysis, and the collective unconscious. Psychological terms coined by Jung include the archetype, the complex, synchronicity, and it is from his work that the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was developed, a popular staple of personality tests today.
