Women Run The World #7 - Zakia - Tanzania

Welcome on episode number seven of Women Run the World podcast with Zakia’s interview. 

New interview and new country : Zakia in Tanzania. Runners from this country are not speaking as fluently English as Kenyan runner. 

Zakia was another olympic runner. For her, running for her country was not something you could be proud of unless you won a medal. Running also change her life because she can have a house. Every time I was talking with women who were running to earn their life it reminded me that running for them was a question of surviving.
