Have you ever felt a vague sense of unhappiness but you couldn’t quite figure out what specifically was wrong? I’ve found that most of the time, that sort of nebulous sensation of discontent comes from a discrepancy between what your body is telling you and what your brain is saying instead.
In today’s episode, I’m talking about a concept I describe as body-knowledge vs brain-knowledge. I explain that body-knowledge is essentially intuition, and brain-knowledge is the conscious, rational understanding we have about things. I share a couple of examples of misalignment between the two and give you 3 ways to help get your brain on board with what your body already knows.
