Norman Peter Gibbs traveled to the Island of Mull, located just off the coast of Scotland, in 1975. His companion accompanied him to check on some property investments and celebrate his birthday on Christmas.

However, he decided to take a short night flight and vanished.

What happened next has intrigued investigators for decades, and they still have more questions than answers.
