David Colturi, Cliff Diver

"I am scared of the potential consequences of a cliff dive gone wrong almost as much as having to hold a nine to five office job.” As a member of Red Bull’s Cliff Diving circuit, David Colturi’s “9-5” is jumping out of the equivalent of an eight story building (or roughly 90 feet) at some of the most picturesque destinations in the world. After becoming friends in Red Bull’s High Performance training facility, Payson and David decided to sit down for a podcast one evening following their respective gym sessions. They talk similarities and differences between their sports, dives gone wrong, how David ended up on the circuit, “cliff diving” from a paraglider, comparing various stories of breaking their bodies in search of glory and much, much more.
