This week we're covering general health supplements like antioxidants, probiotics and iron. These are some of the most commonly used supplements by athletes and they can be really helpful; however, they can also have a dark side. Overuse and the wrong application of some supplements can actually lead to more health problems and poor sports performance. In this episode, we cover when you may consider taking a supplement for some of the most common health supplements applied to sports performance and when it might be time to put the supplements down and eat some real whole food.
