Belle Brockhoff, Australia’s best female snowboard cross athlete, is a two-time Olympian and twelve-time World Cup medalist which includes four gold medals. In 2020, she won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Snow Australia Awards for her amazing comeback over the 2019-2020 season following a long ACL recovery. An advocate for mental health, Belle is a Community Custodian for Lifeline Australia. In this episode, we discuss how it feels to make history numerous times, her protest of Russia's anti-LGBTQ laws at her first Olympics in Sochi, her decision to speak openly about depression, and why she thinks Australia has some of the best snowboarders in the world.
