This week's guest is Madison de Rozario, a three-time Paralympian, who first started wheelchair racing when she was twelve years old and competed at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics only two years later aged 14. She won three Paralympic medals, placed first in the 5000m at the 2017 London World Para Athletic Championship, was the first Australian to win the women’s wheelchair title at the 2018 London Marathon. Madi was the 2019 Women’s 800m World Champion, and she’s also won the Oz Day 10k wheelchair road race six times, as well as setting two world records. In between those achievements, she’s studied a bachelor’s degree and become a mentor for wheelchair athletes. In 2018, Madison was awarded Cosmopolitan’s Sportswoman of the Year and Athletics Australia Female Para-Athlete of the Year. And this year, in very exciting news, she became Barbie’s 2020 Shero and had a Barbie doll model of her.
