1. A scary situation this morning in West Allis where the medical examiner was called to a police presence near Lincoln and National. The Medical Examiner's office tells WTMJ they were been called to the scene; police red tape is currently blocking off the intersection of Lincoln and 96th Street. This is an area that's undergoing a lot of construction right now, and the focus of the police investigation appears to be on an area behind construction barricades on the sidewalk.

2. The man found guilty of murdering and dismembering a 19-year-old woman after a first date in Milwaukee is back in court. A restitution hearing for Maxwell Anderson following his conviction and sentencing in the murder of Sade Robinson. The hearing is part of the final court proceedings related to the civil and financial aspects of the case. Sheena Scarbrough addressed her daughter's killer during the proceedings. The criminal trial and sentencing wrapped up August 1st with Anderson receiving a life sentence without parole.

3. A special honor for a very special group of people at the Brewers game today. The Brewers will honor World War II Veterans from the Milwaukee area and across the region during today's game against the Phillies. More than 30 Veterans will be celebrated, three of whom are 100 years old or older. The end of World War II officially concluded with the formal surrender of Japan on September 2, 1945, making 2025 the 80th anniversary of the war's conclusion.
