Devon—better known as SirFixMYCredit—is a native of Guyana who relocated to the DMV in 1990. After experiencing the challenges of poor credit firsthand, he turned that pain into purpose. Now, Devon is on a mission to empower others with financial knowledge. He created the Credit Builders Community, a private Facebook group dedicated to helping people understand and improve their credit. In this episode, Devon breaks down credit myths, shares real strategies, and explains why financial literacy is key to unlocking new opportunities in life.
