Dr. Richara Richardson, also known as “Dr. Chara,” is a transformational coach, educator, researcher, motivational speaker, and mentor. Her academic journey includes two bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and African American Studies, a master’s degree in Educational Administration, and a Doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. In 2019, she defended her dissertation titled “A Phenomenological Study of the Role Grit Plays in the Graduation Success of African American Male Alumni of the M.O.R.E. Program.”

As the CEO of Empower 2 Elevate Consulting, LLC, Dr. Chara uses both her professional expertise and personal experience—having overcome the challenges of being a young single mother—to inspire transformation in others. She is committed to equipping individuals with the tools they need to reach their fullest potential and elevate their mission.
