George Wuerthner - Kobuk River Trip

George Wuerthner, ecologist, writer and photographer, and former hunting guide, has just returned from an exploratory trip to Alaska, checking out a proposed mining development project and road near the Kobuk River in the north part of the state. The access road required would intrude on wilderness and national park land. George has previously been a guest on Wilderness & Wildlife. He writes frequently about wildlife, deforestation and wildfire.
