Erik Molvar is Executive Director of Western Watersheds Project, a nonprofit conservation group dedicated to protecting and restoring wildlife and watersheds throughout the American West. Erik is a wildlife biologist with scientific research in behavioral ecology and systems ecology of moose, and has spent 10 years as an author of guidebooks to national parks and wilderness areas, including one about Wyoming’s Red Desert. He has been a conservation professional for 21 years, working first in BLM wilderness inventory and later on oil and gas issues, sage grouse conservation, large carnivore defense, land-use planning, and livestock issues.
