First Nations lore is filled with tales of smaller beings, some living side by side peacefully with humans, while others more malevolent seek out humans as prey. We look at a few examples of these creatures and examine the similarity between them that suggests that such legends may in fact be based on a race of actual beings or creatures which may even still be lurking around the forests today.
