Oh my goodness, I always feel excited when I get to hit record again and think about another week passing - both the speed at which that happens and everything that happens in a week. You know… the great things. The disappointing things. Just the amount of life that happens in seven small days! Today I'm popping on and want to talk about setting huge goals.
... And there's certainly nothing wrong with setting huge goals, but I want to just throw out some ideas. And these are things that I've been playing around with this year, because at the beginning of the year, I set big goals and I said all of these different things that you have had sitting on the back burner for years and years are all these little ideas. This is the year you're going to try them. And if they don't work, they don't work but at least you're gonna throw them out there and see what sticks. And that's a pretty big goal. I wanted to launch some physical products, some greeting cards and stickers, which are out there right now but to be honest, it's true. I have not really told you about them. I wanted to paint a mural this year and we're we're middle of the year.
So this is kind of where you start thinking about Hey, am I on track. So wanted to paint a mural wanted to launch some physical products wanted to really be making some waves in birth work and wanted to really be be putting my effort behind these ideas rather than than just having them float around in my head. And I love systems and I love planning and I love ideas and I love the excitement of new things. So sometimes I can very easily get caught up in making the big goals. Are you like that to raise your hand Are you like me?
So we we make these big plans and sometimes we just start going and doing all the things and where this catches us up. Is we forget that magic is not in the doing. It's in the being. It's in the being of being being exactly the embodiment of somebody who does have a product line being the embodiment of somebody who paints murals, being the embodiment of somebody who owns a super successful birth work business. And when we forget that, that is the crux of everything.
Then we can really get stuck in spinning our tires and trying the next thing and ooh, this one isn't quite working and trying the next instead of realizing that if we were to fully sink in to being that then we would be astounded how quickly it happens. And yes, we are the ones who still have to say yes to the opportunities and no to the ones that aren't for us. But when we've decided and then when we feel the feelings that we would feel if we were those things, if we painted the murals and whatever your things, are you you're the only one who knows what those are. If we already were to feel those, and if we were to make that the focus. And by no means am I saying alright, you want to embody the feelings of a millionaire go spend a million dollars that you don't have.
I'm saying why would that feel like would you be a person then if you are a millionaire who did the things you said you were going to do who was meticulous in your words and actions who focused on things that really matter? Who didn't spend hours scrolling on social media and not connecting? Would you be a person who would care about your health? Would you be a person who would strive to connect with other people and to build relationships? You would write if you were a millionaire? All of those things would be true. So make them true right now. And watch what happens to the things that you want. It's like they they know they're welcome and they want to just zoom over to you. And when you stop getting caught up in the bits and pieces of how to force it to happen.
It allows it to happen. Imagine that you were at the beach and you saw the waves coming and the waves are coming in. It's so beautiful. And then you put a wall in front of those waves. Well, you've just stopped the waves. You've just stopped the natural flow of that energy that was coming in. The natural flow of energy that wants to come to you is what you want, what you want once you and it's not in the newsletters that need to be sent. It's not in the to do list that are a mile long that make you feel so important. It's in the feeling the way you want to feel and picking just the next thing that's going to continue to cultivate that in yourself. And that's where the magic is. It's not an a billion things on your to do list and tasks upon tasks upon tasks. Because when you start to feel those ways, the ways of what you want, you will see that everything else will fall to the side and the truest rightist quickest actions will float to the top and will become so apparent and those will be the things that you go and do with joy. They may not be easy things but there'll be the just write things and they'll feel really good. You've got this. All the things that you want are possible. I truly truly know it and I can't wait to see what you do. Go go go. You can start today.
