In this talk, we explore how past trauma — both big "T" and small "t" — shapes how we show up in the world today. Using the powerful Buddhist story of Kisā Gotamī and teachings from Gabor Maté, Larry Yang, and Polyvagal Theory, we dive into the ways trauma impacts our bodies, relationships, and spiritual lives. We look at how healing doesn't happen in isolation, but through connection — in community, in sangha, and through being seen and held in our truth.
Prompt: How has trauma shaped who you are today?
